I currently have quite a large bag of scrap silver jewellty I am thinking of taking to a jewellers to see if they are interested in buying. Have done it before and got abot £70 for scrap.
I might do that. I've got some gold stuff that I rarely wear as I don't like gold and probably a few broken chains lying around. Where did you go? Was it a store with lots of branches?
My wife had a few bits of broken gold chains, varying from 9 to 22 gram.Knowing the weight of each piece i checked the scrap price on Ramsden's site, total added up to £348 . Went to the local Ramsden's shop and received £346.Boy was she chuffed.
amy90,he asked for a gold chain,he just lost the one i got hom for his 16th birthday but it was a lot thinner than this one,he doesnt want a big chunky thing like a chav wears.he doesnt need £200 for a suit for a job,he wears lab coates at his work at the university where he as worked since he was 17,and done an apprenticeship for 5 years,he works in a science lab, which is more than i can say for a lot of young ones.
