Is Kilmarnock the only place that celebrates Halloween on the last Friday of the month.

Surprisingly, Kilmarnock doesn't feature on the CrapTowns website. That's very surprising because the local prison has excellent internet access.

Perhaps it's because residents have a means of escape in its bus and railway stations. I do, however, remember the Kadikoi as being a majic wee bar when I was underage.

In Scotland it was traditional to celebrate Halloe'en. Youngsters would go out guisin. They would perform a song or poem in exchange for some sweets (or swedgers in local parlance).

It was the tradition, at least in the west of Scotland, for guisin to take place on the last Friday of October.

Nowadays young junkies continue the tradition by robbing pensioners in their own homes whenever the opportunity arises.
