Fancy dress for a friends party????
HELP!!!!! I am a size 20 currently trying to lose weight. in about 4 weeks i have a fancy dress party to attend and havent a clue what to go as. i dont want to spend too much money as i probably wont use the outfit again. i did think of something on the 80s theme, but i dont want to look any bigger than i already am!!!!

Go as an Oxo cube.
Get a cardboard box, cut out holes for arms and legs, cover with foil and make some red letters OXO to stick on each side.

My friend is two sizes bigger than you Laura. She went to a fancy dress party as a nun, and the flowing habit concealed any flaws. Have fun!

I'm much bigger than you and recently went to a fancy dress party as a gypsy/fortune teller. I wore a long black skirt, a gypsy top - a white/cream blouse/top would work too, gold hoop earrings, a long black curly wig and a scarf tied around my head and a pashmina shawl. It was easy to put together and didn't cost very much as I had most of the item already.

Hiya, I recently went to a fancy dress - I was skint so I paniked a bit!! I went as a builder - I wore a pair of old jeans, picked up a checked shirt for next to nothing in a shop, borrowed my fellas hard hat and hi-viz vest and hey presto!! I had a lot of good comments as no-one ever thinks to go as a builder, it's original and very cheap to do!! hope this helps x

black is usually slimming on most people, so you could try nd think of something that means you dress in black. Or i went to a fancy dress party as little red riding hood recently, all i had to buy was a length of red material for a cape.
