Does anyone have directions for making a Christmas tree decoration from teasels?

Years ago someone had given a friend a christmas tree decoration made from teasels. We have alot of these bushes with teasels on them on our property and thought it would be fun to make use of them.

Spray with either gold or silver spray paint, (lay them on newspaper to spray, and then turn over to spray the other side), then tie the short stalk with green or red ribbon bow and loop, to hang them on the tree. Good Luck.
