Christmas

Dingbat

Hi, Can anyone solve these christmas dingbats?
There are names in 2 circles - Mick Fleetwood, Nick Mason, Phil Collins, Ringo Starr, Roger Taylor in the outer circle and Charlie Watts John Bonham, Cozy Powell, Keith Moon in the inner circle. The word 'snare' is in the centre. I know they are all drummers but is there any other answer than drummer drumming because there are only nine here and the song has twelve.

This one has Twelve 'E a r l' Reading in columns - the first column has four the second four and the third four. The 'Earl' has the letter E r and l on a line with the 'a' above on all of them. Any suggestions please?

Question Author

Thanks again squarebear. The version of 12 days of christmas that I have is only 10 Lords a Leaping as with the drummers, according to the song its 12 drummers dumming. I have in fact queried this with the author of the dingbats and his version is 12 L a L and 9 D D.

I think there's a few variations on the 9th, 10th,11th and 12th day of Christmas. I would be tempted to go with the 9 drummers drumming to be honest.

Hi squarebear, Apparently the author says he uses the christmas post office stamp collection and it is different from the traditional song. Problem solved. so it is as we say.
