Buddy's a bit American but not otherwise outrageous. I don't know about Bear but nobody uses middle names anyway.

I highly doubt he'll get picked on at school, he won't be going to your local comp, full of ruffians, he'll be going with Tarquins and Sabastians to their little private school (can't blame him really) and poor Tarquin would probably prefer being called Buddy Bear. I actually think it's a very sweet name, adorable on a baby- perhaps not so much when he's a strapping 6footer who's 30 years old!

The poor kid, fancy calling your son and heir Buddy. I remember David Bowies son was called Zowie Bowie, he is now called Duncan Jones. So maybe he'll change it later.

They should have called him a proper people name and just called him Buddy. He would probably always choose to keep it, but it would give him a better choice.
