why is it when a day is bad it just gets worse?

Try as I might I have tried to be upbeat about how I feel, I am as low as I can be and crying, I have managed to upset one of my dearest friends on here and that's unforgivable...so please DEN if you are out there I am so sorry....

My son in law has a tumor in his neck and I am holding it together for my daughter who is in bits

Hi Bobbi have just read through your thread and the doctors referred to it as a lump, yes? not a tumour... Please let me assure you I have had more lumps cut out of me than I care to think about all little non entities that occurred through work or just because they did. My GP (who was a ships surgeon did most of them) He's going to be fine. You can't worry about What Ifs.... else you'll spend your life worrying yourself into an early grave. Does, he feel ill, has he lost weight? I do understand your concern hon but you have to try and think on the bright side xxxx

Hi mazie, I know you are right but seeing my daughter like that has upset me so badly, she came home from work and straight here and sobbed her heart out, up till then I was very positive, she is a professional nurse herself but to see her crumble has cut me up big time, btw it is Dentistry she works in not medical

I dont think for one moment you have upset Den. And, I know when your kids are upset, it hurts like hell. No-one's given you reason yet to think its anything more than a lump that will rpobably go on it;s own accord. (((have a hug)))

they said tumor at the hospital and if it's not than I will promptly get pished out of my head,,,seriously

my bloke was 22 when they confirmed he had cancer due to finding the lump in his neck. I dont want to scare you as it could just be a lump. He has had scare recently where I have got upset but not infront of him but they have just been normal lumps just glands etc
