You would die without a spacesuit. There is no oxygen and it's freezing or scorching depending where the sun is.
Why don't you pay 14m and go and find out?
Question Author
Yes, I know I would die. What I really want to know is, will my eyes pop out of my head and will I explode? :-)
Before the lack of Oxygen or temperatures extremes could affect you the lack of pressure will cause the liquids in your body to boil and the air inside your body to expand making you explode - nice way to go, though I'd imagine it would be mercifully quick
Midly amusing question to ask. Some great answers!
Moog's answer is basically correct, although instead of exploding, I think you would probably leak/evaporate rather rapidly out of all orifices.
isnt space a vaccuum making explosions rather difficult ?
Click here, it will take you to an explanation.
Mattk: No, the fact that it is a vacuum would make explosion easier, not more difficult.
You don't explode, freeze, etc. Here is what NASA say on the subject. http://imagine.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/ask_astro/answers/970603.h tml
