Can we view the site of the moon landings via telescope?

Re the rumours that the moon landings were faked, have we the telescopic capability to view the sites of the moon landings and see, for example, the moon buggy that was left behind, or the flag in position? or any other debris they left behind!

that good question.wonder that meself.from wot i gather,there would be so much luna dust on the objects plus .the take off of appollo1 must have caused quite alot of debis let alone in the 40yrs prob fallen to bits.i prob not right but i have asked othes myself and that the answer i got

As reported by a certain newspaper (Sunday Sport I think) using an Earth-bound telescope, an Avro Lancaster bomber was seen on the surface of the Moon on the Oceanus Procellarum (Ocean of Storms). The moon buggy would be too small to resolve from the Earth's surface. The resolution of the Hubble Space Telescope is good enough to detect a moon buggy especially if the Sun is low in the lunar sky. Observing time on Hubble is precious though and a positive siting of Apollo debris is unlikely to convince any sceptic..

currently using hubble the smallest object that can be resolved is about 70 square metres, still too big. They went to the moon the evidence is overwealming. All the so called anolmolies explaned ad nauseum, see here for example: http://www.clavius.org/

No but we can and do regularly reflect lasers off of special reflectors


Three sets of these were left by the Apollo missions and they are used to accurately measure the moons distance to within milimeters and hence accurately calculate Newtons gravitational constant G.

Hundreds of scientists from all over the world have worked on these reflectors over the last 40 years - maybe they were all in on the conspiracy too
