That was the bad old days in 2015. We're on the eve of a brave new world where this type of technology is to be fitted into convoys of trucks moving up to ten at a time, together, in a line, unbroken.

Well I can see the viewpoint that some may not wish to pay extra for functionality that isn't necessary. Many will have enough brain cells to ensure no one is standing in the way. The speed of the car seems unsafe though. Folk should have time to move out of the way when it's clear they're in the path.
