ive just watched the film "wolverine" and in it the man was lying in a "bed" which when he moved adapted to his body. is this an actual "bed "or just an optical effect by the special effects people

Perhaps it was one of those water beds, where you sleep on a type of 'mattress' which is filled with a liquid. You can buy them.

'Memory foam' mattress? Still regularly advertised in magazines etc.

Just CGI I'm afraid.

Shame though: it does look rather cool.
