Just ordered my last big gift from Amazon... a few little stocking fillers needed so will still be able to do a bit of browsing but for me this year has been a revelation order stuff...it arrives ..... check it .... wrap it..... sorted.... chill with glass of wine and a cupcake.... or do you really love the whole come home loaded down with packages thing....like a hunter having bagged some game...?

No the only thing I'd be concerned about with mail/Internet order is not getting the stuff in time. A site I looked at recently went to great lengths to honestly say that a parcel was only declared lost by the PO after 15 days so they'd not consider doing anything re undelivered parcels until after that time. so I was happy to go elsewhere; the risk being judged too great.

I love the Christmas atmosphere in the shops - the decorations and carols playing but I hate the crowds, my sore feet and especially carrying heavy shopping back to the bus as I don't drive. The internet, especially Amazon is brilliant - Amazon should be re-named Amaz-ing! Ordered 2 Cds and a DVD on monday and they have just arrived!
