still , spare a thought for Americas Eastern seaboard with Hurricane Irene, so I suppose our weather isn't that bad all told :-)

I thought the summer was okay. It started very early...
It's so rubbish I have had to go and buy the kid's their fleecy winter pyjamas today as I felt sorry for them in their summer ones (they've got dressing gowns but won't wear them).

maybe further down the country where you are, can't say we have had any decent weather apart from a week at the end of April

We've had some nice days but we've hardly been to the beach this year as the weather just hasn't been nice enough (and we haven't been at all during the school holidays). Never mind, at least it's stopped raining.

It hasn't been a brilliant summer, but i wouldn't say it had been that bad.
Been awful here in London and I am sitting here at present chilled to the bone!

We judge the Summer by how many evenings we can enjoy sitting outside in our little summerhouse at the top of the garden while it gets dark around us ..... its 12 degrees at the mo so would freeze our socks off tonight!

I don't have our heating on as yet ann
There's a drought on here and all the grass is brown..Only had a couple of rainy days in about 3 months.
All the rain keeps missing us.......Good job we nick all our water from Wales ;-)
