A man lives on the 16th floor in a block of flats, when he goes to work in the morning he gets the elevator down to the ground floor.
When he returns home he can only reach the 13th floor and has to take the stairs the rest of the way, but on a rainy day, can reach the 16th floor, why is this?

no it does not make sense.......
the number 16 would only be 2 inch higher (max) than the number 13, so if he can reach number 13 he would only need to carry ,say a pen to reach number 16 .It would be idiotic of him to get out at the 13th floor everyday wouldn't it?

Maybe he was using the pen to get to the 13th ?
