32 FENCES ON THE GRAND NATIONAL COURSE.
32 FURLONGS ON THE GRAND NATIONAL COURSE.
Neither of these are correct as there are 16 fences (14 of which are jumped twice) making 30 jumps. The course is 4 miles 4 furlongs and so is 36 rather than 32 furlongs.
