I had two pet raccoons once, they were often escaping. They make lovely pets if you have them from babies.

Prudie....nice to know that !

We have an "exotic" pet shop near me and the chap that runs it has an Coatimundi. Its very tame, although she is a bit boisterous ! But he is now not allowed to breed from it, as the rules on these type of animals has changed now.

He also has a lots of snakes, which are not kind of things at all !

Awww...:-)
See my thread in Animals and Nature on raising them from babies. They are frisky little monkeys.
The Beatles may have.

"Now the doctor came in, stinking of gin,
And proceeded to lie on the table.
He said, "Rocky, you met your match".
And Rocky said, "Doc, it's only a scratch.
And I'll be better, I'll be better, Doc, as soon as I am able".

pastafreak...thanks ! They sure look cute......What a coincidence that we both start such similar threads, so close to each other !
I'd love a racoon...not sure my lurcher and 2 cats would though.
In fact...I'd not idea they existed in the UK...imported obviously. And not welcome either...
