Yes it is. I suppose the "important people" will know that the square of fabric poking out of your breast pocket is by Paul Smith and be suitably impressed, justifying the crazy cost.

That's a suit for a young fellow. I'd need one more ample in the waist
£50 for a 'snot rag' and you can't even blow your nose on it!
Assuming it is 6" X 6" then it is a snip at £ 1,800 per square yard.
Scorpiojo. This pocket square makes your suit look like a real bargain !
Try eBay
presume its a real silk one for that price ?the old kid's song "snotty nose Oliver" comes to mind.
I bet he carries a box of tissues in his man bag.
EEK ! Get the Kleenex out !
i refuse to pay more for a hanky than i do for a jacket
Well at least it is discreet. I would get laughed out of the pub if I spent £755 on the ridiculous jacket http://www.lanecrawford.com/product/ann-demeulemeester/spotlight-print-cotton-blazer/_/EBA897/product.lc?isNavFromNewInPage=&navMode=
if i was paying a grand for a paul smith suit i would expect them to throw the 'pocket square' in for free
Yes to both, of course !
No of course it isnt Sandy

I wouldnt go around with a bit of bog roll sticking out of my suit pocket
that is what I use for a hankie ( unused of course - I mean unused as bog toll )
.

First used by Richard II apparently

along with laid tables ( when the nobles saw the knives they thought it was their Last Supper )

[and when they saw the pochette squares, they thought - oh something for my bum .....no they didnt - they used to blow their noses on their hands and then wipe them on their clothes ...]
and dont wear them in your back pocket Ed, for chrissakes
esp the red one
