I am aware of the fiasco re the above but why was 3 concerts scheduled to go on and the other 2 were not.

They are. It looks as though the promoter was chancing his arm. They'd got permission for 3, so just add another 2. 'Who's to stop us?', seems to have been the attitude.
The fans suffer.

From what I understand they had permission for three and tried to sneak another two in,the locals complained and the counsel backed them and said that two concerts had to be cancelled,Garth then said how do you decide which two to cancel out of five?so he cancelled the lot.I don't know what the outcome will be as people were now complaining about the loss of revenue.

Thanks all - have just read some of the responses on another thread. Not knowing much about it - the locals should have allowed the concerts to go on - noisy or not - for goodness sake it is only one night. Anyway it hasn't affected me.

it was 5 nights and they have already had one group do a 3 night run and that was the big problem

ok - as I say don't know much about it but the revenue Dublin has lost was a much needed one since the south of Ireland are pretty down on their knees.

Its because Mr Brooks has decided to be so very precious about the whole affair...if he can do them all, he would rather not do any.

Lets translate that into Plain English...he would rather disappoint all his Irish fans than just some of them !

did he decide or his manager ? I am also a fan and Low Places is my fav,
I know he doesn't come to UK but for what reason ? I did not book for Dublin but hoped to catch him in Vegas, had my picture taken there with a look a like, but somehow not the same.

I am doing good Anne and Mr Harv is doing ok. He is still eating and drinking and we enjoyed a lovely walk in the park today. Kiddies in the swing park but then I let him off the leash in a secluded spot and he has a grand ole time running here and there and occasionally looks back to make sure I am in his vision - bless him. We are just heading off to bed - he has done all his ablutions etc so will hopefully rise to another lovely day. Hope your day has been good. - God bless - Love from Con and Mr Harv.
