i cant remember exactley what he won

altough i am pretty sure about the snooker but he was good at about 20 different sports i.e played for englang football and rugby and cricket teams . i know it sounds far fetched but it was something crazy if not exactley what i have suggested

It was your use of the term "i.e." that confused me.
So are looking for someone who was good at a number of sports.
There were a few cricketers who played professional football, most notably Dennis Compton

I can't imagine anyone achieved the sort of records youa re talking about in several sports

as far as i know its true

they mentioned him on talk sport ages ago (haksbee and jacobs) who thought it was made up . but when they looked into it said it was true???

No one has done the above in fact no one has one a Tennis grand slam and won a golf major.

Except maybe Wilson or Alf Tupper.
