Will I be warm this winter?

At long,long long last my landlord has had double glazing put in the house!!!!
It was chaos(cheap builders that need reminding of every little job,but hey ho they did it in the end)but am I going to be snug as a bug in a rug this winter with my 'special K' glass?
Surly this will help stop the dam damp that ravaged every room last year.At least having window frames that don't have holes in them HAS to be better!
