Yes. They're nearly as irritating as people who say 'them' instead of 'those' ;-)
Those or them .....they ARE noisy
them there horns are right annoying indeed
They sound like someone has been poking a wasp's nest with a stick.
I bet markrae's fingers are twitching...
This one's been covered on another thread but I can't find it.
To be honest they are very very annoying and spoiling the atmosphere. Imagine standing near them!
Indeed, On the Uruguay v France match, the camera showed some guy blasting away on a horn right above another fan's head in the row in front. Let's hope the English fans grab these horns and smash them.
My OH mentioned that they sounded like a lot of wasps/bees buzzing. Its irritating.
I dont think I can poke up with another 90 minutes of that there racket!

Or it's a bit like they've all got loads of balloons and are letting the air out really slowly.
I mentioned this during last years Confederations cup..If anybody turns up at the Albion next season with one of these "Uwe Seelers" or whatever they are called..They'll be walking home awkwardly...
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....
Sorry folks, they've been around for years. On this link they're described as beautiful !!!

The other thread on this subject has been deleted, not sure why.
^^ My thoughts exactly mightywba
Don't worry, I bet there are container loads of them on their way here.

In no time at all every kid on your street will have one.

They are almost as annoying as some idiots playing 'The Great Escape' badly, throughout all England matches.
The horns seemed to drown out all the atmosphere. Even when South Africa scored you couldnt hear any cheering.
Totally agree, what an awful noise. A few years ago I took my son to an England under 23 game. About 3 rows behind us someone started beating a drum, I told him I hadn't paid to listen to that noise and to stop. (Or I used words similar!) All those around us agreed, eventually he sauntered off down to the other end of the ground to irritate other folk. Trumpets, horns, drums and any other instruments should be banned. All in my most humble opinion of course!
If you press the red button during the match, you have a choice of sound and you can choose the quietest background noise.
