No.8 Stoup is correct because it is halt(stop) with the 2nd letter of August in it - also a stoup is drinking basin at the entrance to a church

Found this quiz to be a bit tougher than usual, or perhaps it is just old age.
thank you gen2 for the useful link. After a few days away from the quiz it has allowed me to crack 42. #19 is still giving me grief however. Is it a card game (like snap or rummy for example around 'American club' meaning something that holds drink?
