Good evening members everywhere.
The Club is now open.
As the cold damp weather is persisting, the fires have been banked up in the grand hall and the kettle is singing on the hob in the upper scullery.

Members are advised that there will be a Committee meeting this evening . Unfortunately the agenda has been mislaid, so we will have to make it up as we go along.

Tonight's lecture is entitled 'Crochet, are you hooked yet ?'

Hello Mamyalynne.
I too am looking forward to the lecture.
I have my hooks and cotton ready and expect to be able to crochet some cakes by the end of the evening.
May I try one of your bonbons, please ?
Question Author
We can discuss whatever we like, Mamya....the agenda has been lost along with the rule book, the minute book and the staff wages records.
Haven`t a clue re the paperwork, but his ludship was having a bonfire the other evening and muttering about mad old biddies?!

Good evening, alexanderd, how lovely to welcome you to our select group this evening.

I do know what you mean about the holes ....still, we must try to improve ourselves and items with holes in are ever so useful for straining stuff.

Draw your chair nearer to the fire and we'll all have a nice cup of tea when Mamya gets it ready.
do we have to dress formal for the committee meeting, if so I dont suppose you will let me in wearing shorts and a hoodie
Cuppas all round and have even got the sugar lumps and tongs out too, a few nibbles I knitted earlier too - enjoy!!
Question Author
I think I would pay good money to see hooded shorts
I brought some cup-cakes I knitted, dropped a few stitches Im afraid but I filled the gaps with chocolate buttons so I hope they are acceptable

Question Author

Question Author
Please keep an eye out for lordalex....he's on the move tonight, a bit restless and inclined to open windows.
I thought you kept him sedated on clubnights, but will certainly check all windows
Question Author
We try to keep him sedated at all times, but he's getting the better of his meds.

Is Australia now just a faint memory, or are you still walking around on your head sometimes ?
I caught his ludship sneaking a cheroot in the conservatory earlier, but the doors were locked.
