Reference the earlier exchanges, I'm all the way with Midazolam. If the suggested answer is the right one, then D for nobleman is stretching the imagination a bit far. Also, no indication either of Scottish in the clue or drink in the answer. I'm not convinced, but can't conjure up a better one.
