Not every one is comfortable searching the internet, especially new users to computers. My Husband has only just started using a PC and he's scared to death of clicking on any links he's not familiar with, so google is not an option for everyone. Just needed to have my say as I've seen this comment directed at a number of people, it can be off-putting and seem unfriendly to new users of this site. If people ask on here they ask for a reason and it's not always laziness!

But if you have proper protection such as a firewall and anti-virus software (and internet browsers themselves include some protection) then there is no reason to be "scared to death", and you are missing out on so much.

It's like not venturing out of your house because an airplane might crash directly on top of you.
