Can anyone settle an arguement. I'm looking for the names of Santa's Raindeers. Is Rudolf in or out?

Found this...

"The names Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen originated from the Childrens story "It was the night before Christmas" by Clement Moore

Rudolf came later from the song "Rudolf the red nosed reindeer", sung by Dean Martin "

Though in my opinion you couldn't have Christmas without Rudolf so he's definitely in!!!!

The first recording of "Rudolph" was by cowboy singer Gene Autry in 1949... the concept dated from a booklet published in 1939...

For comparison, Clement Moore's poem was published in the 1820s.
