Well done you.
I am, sadly, not so good.
I do have low energy bulbs, but only cos I got them free. I recycle some things depending on my mood at the time. I don't rinse out cans after I cut myself badly on one. I use non-bio stuff, but not to be ecologically friendly - but cos of skin allergies. Most bottles go in the rubbish cos it's too much hassle storing them separately.
So - me, I would say 6 out of 10.
Do I go to prison now for that confession?

I must admit, on the boat we have to use biodegradable products etc. Otherwise the bilges get blocked and I am in trouble for that. Also I am in trouble for creating too many bubbles with the old fairy liquid - the float for miles around the boat and I get lots of tut-tuts.
Biodegradable loo paper is so cr@p though - dissolves at the slightest splash of water. I'm always sticking my fingers through it.... not good.

Bottles and other glass get taken to the Recycling place, I sort my rubbish, but don't wash out tins. Too dangerous and besides we have septic tank drainage and over use of water is bad both for the water supply and our drainage. The recycling bin has limited use for plastics because they won't take loads of stuff like yoghurt cartons, margarine tubs, etc. Veg peelings, etc. go in the compost bin in the garden. I shouldn't use bleach because of the septic tank, but I do. I do take clothing and textiles to either the recycling centre or the charity shop, depending on the conditon.
You can't rely on everybody's good will to do these sorts of things you have to legislate.
Things like withdrawing incandescent light bulbs and enforcing a minimum level of fuel efficiency for cars.
If you just leave it up to individuals half of them will go around grumbling - "there's no point when them over there are so much worse than I am"
And nothing will happen
