I know, and thankyou. I said that I went to see 'Jersey Boys" in London yesterday and it was excellent! A lot of travelling was involved tho and it was a very sticky day. Do you ever go to see shows?
I'm afraid not - I really don't get on with London - too many people & no-one to go with...

Grabs violin & begins to play - badly... :-)

It was packed!! I don't really like it either but wanted to see the show. We went on speck so got cheaper seats but I still think the prices are outrageous It cost well over 100 quid for 2 tickets, underground tickets and lunch! So much for hard times!
The last show I saw (I think!) was "Sweeney Todd" with John Thaw...

...I'm glad you enjoyed the show, despite the cost! I love the Four Seasons & have seen a couple of clips of the show on TV - enough to see that it looks great!

It really was good and so many of the songs took me back to my early teens - a time when I knew the words to everything, not like the crap today!! although I do like James Morrison and have just bought his latest CD. Any music favourites yourself?

Just being nosey and reading other peoples mail!! What an assortment of jobs you've had - no wonder you know so much. Hope all goes well with the present secret job, love a mysterious man... :-)
Not so much secret, as not really going yet...

I'm a big blues fan, from the 40's on; I love 70's rock/metal - CD's range from Led Zeppelin through Blondie, Billy Cobham, Eric Clapton, Camel, Uriah Heep to the Carpenters with a ton of stuff in between...
Question Author
I can see that we have VERY different music tastes! The groups of the 60's were my favourite, although I agree with you about The Carpenters; Karen had a beautiful, pure sound, such a sad ending for someone so talented, as is often the case.
Anyway, after yesterday I am now 'watching' a couple of 'The Best of' Four Seasons albums on ebay as the show has reawakened my youth. Aaaah!
Maybe speak to you tomorrow afternoon when I'll possibly need your help. Bye for now. X
I saw the Carpenters twice in the 70's - unforgettable! - Karen's in my top 10 list of female vocalists (maybe top 5...)

I can't promise to be around tomorrow, but will try...

Be well :-) x
