What books are available about the treatment of Jews in Ottoman Turkey/empire?
I'm especially interested in anecdotal evidence.
From what little I know so far Jews were very well treated for a long time (in comparison to Christians) until after the Armenian expulsions. I am particuarly interested in the period of the Greek expulsions circa 1914. Thankyou.
