Crosswords questions in the Quizzes and Puzzles section

Why are there ANY questions related to crossword puzzles cluttering up the main Quizzes and Puzzles section when there is a seperate CROSSWORDS section. Duh?

I do not see many, if any, riddles here.

I think its because its the first page when you click on main heading and a crossword is a puzzle and you do get a good class of help here LOL

Having re-read my last sentence I meant to indicate that as there is a riddles sub-section riddles questions are posted there rather than the main section. But, crossword questions clutter up the main section rather than be posted in the crossword sub-section. Why are riddles questioners more intelligent than crossword questioners?

Also because all crossword questions were in Q & P as crossword sub-section was only added later on.

This question seems to have touched a few nerves.
Can we not calm down?

Is this site to help people answer questions or not?

Is it not sensible to seperate a large majority of one topic, e.g. coconut polishing, so that we can see the wheat for the chaff.

The original question seemed sensible to me.

mamya - sorry - I had previously posted an answer to another question in which I mentioned something along the lines of 'to add fun to' and I thought that you were one of the correspondents - until you pointed it out I didn't notice that the questioner was 'justforfun' - please accept my apologies and I would never dream in a 1,000,000 years that you would be insulting to ( a young good-looking single millionaire) - everything in brackets is just for fun!!

OK, I give in. Crosswords are the ONLY Quizzes and Puzzles that matter in Life the Universe and EVERYTHING.

The Quizzes and Puzzles section has been hijacked by the crossword is King Elvis pedants.

I am really surprised that so many narrow minded people have bothered to waste their time attacking a simple question rather than put their questions in the correct sub-section that has been created for them only.

I was just fed up wading through endless, often repeated, questions about easily solved crossword clues.

This not a BLOG site.

I thought that answering questions was what this site was for. Where are you Shaneystar(2), please place your opinion anywhere, your opinion is valued.

Place any answers that you like. I will not be reading them. I have taken the 'advice' of the crosswords rule OK brigade and I will never login again so you will be putting them up your own fundamental oriface.

Just one point to those who replied so rabidly.

There is an option to object to a question.

Why did nobody select it? Duh?

Goodbye forever.

well you obviously won`t read this but i cannpt detect any replies that are rabid, rather people generally post on the subject of puzzles etc and there are a few irritating instances like single postings in a stream rather than one post to give an example.
But as I said earlier crosswords are puzzles and we all rub along okay.
