Thanks Lie-in King. Thats the logic I used but the definition in Collins dictionary aint right. I think the compiler must be using a different dictionary now!

that definition for faff is not in chambers, either

nor is it in any of the 17 dictionaries i own. faff means a fuss or dithering. it is not an involved routine.
