Hi How far will an aircraft carrier travel on one gallon of fuel?
a) 6cm b) 6 inches c) 6 metres d) 6 miles

From this site an American Aircraft carrier has a range of
8,600 nautical miles on 2,700 barrels of fuel when travelling at 18 knots, its slowest speed.
Assuming that 1 barrel = 40 UK gallons, this works out at 161 yards per gallon. Which would probably rule out options a, b and d.
