I'm back from my evening enjoying the sport of Kings .... and see that Pauline is off to Cornwall. I wonder if she should take her passport with her?? ....
It remains an undisputed fact that Cornwall, once a separate country, has never formally been integrated into England, which is why some even today still believe that Cornwall and England are technically two distinct countries!
Not even sure they will let a Stock pottian enter !!

I REALLY wish I was going with vyou tomorrow, I love Cornwall and Newquay.....well the areas just outside!!!!
Have googled where your hotel is and it's on the outskirts, just down the road from where we use to stay.
If you walk down past the golf course (Pentire road) and look over the wall to the sea you will see Lewwinick House built in the rocks and we used to stay in an apartment there.
Phone call 1 hour ago and still no number 5!!!!

Hi Kay ... have just spoken to Reg who tells me the back of his car is almost touching the ground, as it's so full of Pauline's shoes, make up and changes of clothes etc. He may even have to hitch a treailer on!!

Are you still there, Pauline, despite the early start tomorrow? I lived in Cornwall before I came to Portugal and it's my favourite place in England. Or perhaps I should say 'close to England'. Once you cross the Tamar bridge you're in a different land all together. So make sure you pack your passport. I've had two friends staying with me - they went back yesterday - and they are both Cornish lasses. Lovely girls - and they left me some real home-made Cornish Pasties. Als no clotted cream though
