we apologise for the last quiz 'gender song titles', we should have put the number of letters for the answers. some of the questions had more than one answer, but these were marked as correct anyway. hope it won't stop you enjoying our future quizzes - the latest one 'connections two' is now available. the quiz organisers.

but you didnt mark them as correct
I put calendar girl
and georgy girl
and another all of which were top ten hits and they were marked wrong and i got no marks for them
what was more annoying was that we were told on this site they would be accepted

i agree mine were also marked wrong and were top ten hits, most off putting i was considering whether to bother sending for the next quiz as this has happened before

I really am sorry, you are all obviously upset, unfortunately I was on holiday and Cherry had to mark them herself, not that I'm putting the blame on her, but it was rather a lot for her to do on her own. She obviously was not quite sure how to mark them. We promise we won't let this happen again, and I do hope you will continue doing them.

Hi all,
I'm one of the organisers of this quiz, thanks for being so understanding, and we will do our best not to make any more mistakes.
With regard to Connections Two, the present quiz No. 5 and 9 are correct with the number of letters needed, not as suggested. No 5 has 5 letters and No 9 has 7.
It has also been asked how much we make for our village hall, and it averages about £125 per quiz after the prize money has been taken out - so thanks to you all for your support.

Oops, You are right No. 6 is 5 4 not 6 4 as stated, but you are right with No 9, just spelt wrong it is the bird in the plural with an apostrophe !
