MM Links May [Week 2]

Good Morning to all you Linkers. This is Lady Judy (aka JMR27) with my second set of words to be linked. After the initial panic of the first week, I've now chilled out and am beginning to have fun setting the links game. I certainly enjoy looking through your answers to see who has guessed correctly.

I hail originally from Northumberland, completed my studies in Edinburgh and spent most of my working life in London and Edinburgh. My best career move came some eight years ago when I gave up work when we moved to Fife. While living in big cities was an experience, we're much happier living out in the sticks. My free time is taken up with drawing and painting, reading and gardening.

'm addicted to crosswords and at the weekends I stagger home from the newsagent's laden down with newspapers. Last week, one of our neighbours asked me whether I'd taken on a paper round. My husband has never completed a crossword in his life, but he's quite useful as a thesaurus although he did say the other day that trying to read a newspaper in our house was akin to trying to read a lace doily.

Enough of this chitchat. Down to business and no clues on this fine Spring morning. For the everyday running of MM, I will follow the usual rule on word length as introduced by crofter. Each of the pre-selected link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your attempts!

Each of the selected link words may go in front or behind my challenge word! The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm, when crofter will declare my pre-selected words and then apply the same rules for awarding points that have been applied during all MM Link Games in the past.

My second set of four words to have their links predicted should appear below at 9.00am. Happy Linking and Good Luck to you all.
