2. Firedamp
Fabulous clue that. Should be able to work out the answer now.
Apologies Bibster - not done on purpose, having just logged on.

And as for you Ivorbiggun, what an appropriate name for a complete ******. You should be on stage, sweeping it.
4.Abbrev for moment inside an anagram of a 5 letter word for craze/intense enthusiasm

do you have anything for Q45 Stumbles initially then almost falls over (7)
45. S + (s)llaf . . . . synonym for falls<

This will give you 'a burst of liquid' but not sure if this is a valid answer. What do you reckon?

PS Burgess - I will contact you later this week with apologies for delay, owing to a Trojan GG. ja
45. Cancel above answer - just noticed 7 not 5.
well I didnt understand it anyway - lol
Hi Smouse - sorry to confuse you, it's sometimes harder to give clues than answers! I was thinking Trips for Falls, Trip for almost, Pirt< for over, preceded by S for Stumbles initially, giving SPIRT for jet or burst of liquid. Wasn't sure if the answers had to be specific or associated. Anyway, all a big waste of time as I didn't notice 7 letters!

Will now pour myself a liquid from a square bottle with the initials JD. Regards, ja
I've seem spirits but cant quite see the extra i
can see s and trips
