Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

There are often messages on here about why dont you google and thought I'd just share this
I am doing the St Guthlac quiz - answer to 27 is Marilyn Monroe (thats doesnt spoil the quiz cos its an easy one)
Another is George Washington +27

So I have googled and googled and googled for hours and that isnt an exaggeration Mr Washington and Miss Monroe and got nowhere. Then was given the answer but wanted to know why so googled and googled again

|Guess what its nothing to do with Marilyn Monroe at all but you cant say I didnt google - lol

I agree - just googling is not going to get every answer - sometimes you need a prod in the right direction.

I'm not doing the quiz, but out of interest was the answer something to do with the 27th president after George Washington ?

yes it was - and see if I had asked at the start I'd have saved hours but it did amuse me when I realise how wrong I was - hard to get off the wrong track when you are well and truly on it. Kept having half an hour or so on it every day for ages - lol

Daft bit was that when i got the answer - I said please dont tell me why and so was then googling the answer and washington and monroe!!!!
