Hi, I have got an all in one printer, scanner. Scanner wont work tho, not sure if its still under guarantee, Thanks

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.You've not provided much information but, if the scan function doesn't work, the first thing to try is reinstalling the drivers. i.e. dig out the disk which came with the all-in-one device and reload the software from it. (If you can identify the driver software, just reinstall that. Otherwise, reinstall everything).
If that doesn't work, you might be able to get the device repaired or replaced by the retailer who supplied it. Electrical devices should normally be expected to work for 6 years. If you can show that the most likely cause of the problem is an 'inherent fault' (i.e. poor quality components or poor workmanship during manufacture), the retailer is obliged to provide a repair or replacement.

I guess you didn't consider my advice good ... oh well;-)
the reason I suggested using the machine to photocopy the bill is that in this mode you are testing only the machine with no possible interference from the PC .... if the scanner works solo ... it's the PC or the cable... if not ... the unit is bust.
