Thanks to Dundurn and JMR27 for starling. I am trying to link crow with first tenants of a beaver hat ....red indian tribe.....also thinking lodger bird.....beaver home is called lodge but cannot link with hat........

hi inglepingle - re 9. I was thinking of Crow perhaps being some of the first people to wear a beaver hat...i.e. "first tenants". I also found out that a beaver hat is called a "castor" but I couldn't find a bird with the letters "castor" in its name
