Has anyone tasted bear? I saw it recently on a menu in Central Europe and was curious.

I had some in Finland once as a stew, it seemed like a cross in taste between venison and beef but was very, very greasy. Quite nice but a bit odd was my final opinion
We generally don't eat carnivores, bears, foxes, bagers, cats etc but seem to prefer herbivores, rabbits, cows, pigs etc I wonder why ?
I don't think bears are carnivores (but not certain) so maybe we are meant to eat them.
As regards not eating carnivores, surely it's simply that we mainly eat farm animals, and it would have been near impossible for early man to domesticate carnivores.
I think bears are omnivores as are pigs.
Do koalas count?
This is a commonly held misconception koalas are in fact innumerate and have never been seen counting.
I've munched on a beaver or two....does that help any?
Koalas are not bears.
I know they are square sweets !
Someone must have ! Fonzie Bear always had a smile on his face.
