12a Cybercafe -- anagram of baccy and free
27a - Tottery is good if not very PC; totty = talent + ER
10a = Tarts (st = st (way) back)
oops "ts" = "st", I meant
5a = What For
6d = Altar
7d = Farrago (possibly)
8d - Rosie Lee

thanks both-had got farrago but still stuck on 2d and is 5d was-if so why?
2d - Abolish (possibly)?
Do you have "Sever" for 11a? - I suggest "Skier" (anag. of "risked" with the "d" cut off).

5d = Was; "saw", reversed, as in saw (dated) a boy/girlfriend.
2d Abolish

Rot = bosh

first couple lignite = Li

beneath A........A bo li sh = ditch
I just saw "bosh" myself, K - but can't really see why the word "blocks" is used.
Phil. Bosh 'blocks' LI - letters from lignite ?

I know what you mean, Kaya, but that's an odd use of "blocks".

Some of these are quite 9 across - I can't fully justify "farrago" or "Cezanne" at the mo.
