I had a tooth extraction yesterday and was advised to eat soft food for 48 hours. Having tried all the major supermarkets, I have been unable to find tinned sago. Where has it gone, has anyone seen any tinned sago?

Hi Bluebell
I am sure I have seen tins of sago int major supermarkets recently.
Failing that, why not buy a packet of dried sago, add sugar and add to one pint of milk.
Stir on low heat until it is ready.

Thank you for the recipe cruella. I'm going to plough through all the tins of semolina and frog's spawn ( childhood bliss!) first! What a wimp I am!! Have a good evening. Byee
Oh, you are making my mouth water Bluebell!!
Enjoy. Hope your mouth feels better soon.
This talk of milk puddings reminds me of a poem my dad used to tell me when i was young:

tapioca pudding and green snot pie
all mixed up with a dead dogs eye
stir it up and make it thick
and wash it down with a cup of cold sick

Surprisingly, I still love sago, semolina, tapioca, rice Pud et al
mmmmmmmmm
