Bedtime Teaser!

A quick teaser before bedtime!...
If you plug in an iron and it doesn't heat up, do you..

a) curse and blast
b) threaten to take it back, as it is clearly faulty and still under warranty
c) check you turned the plug switch 'on'!

Just had my girls in hysterics at my antics as I had been ironing, turned it off and remembered something else I needed doing. I was in a real tizz,..it had been working earlier...just wasn't getting hot,...workmanship these days..etc etc ...turned round to unplug it and give up to see the switch still 'off'!

Good job I've left the bathroom to Reg!..just wondering, if when he was connecting my jacuzzi bath up, did he interfere with it????

I'm not that handy these days Pauline with me arthritics and ologies which is why I'm glad of at least one son at home ....what I will do when he decides to move out I don't know !
Change my own light bulbs I suppose !
Mind you Mr S. is a dab hand with the lawn mower and dishwasher so I mustn't grumble !!
If only I could teach him to iron and cook ...Hmmm !

As usual I just find you all as you are going to bed! I suppose it is a bit late but I'm a night owl. Missed talking to you all on Friday night but was at grandson Joe's 4th birthday party. Home on Tues. evening only to back again (to Brixham) today (Friday) for grandson Sam's 6th birthday party on Saturday,but never fear dear brother Burgess will post my link words for me again.I got points last week for bunny boiler! I always keep Dirty Dancing at the ready, the ironing seems much easier watching Patrick Swayze with his shirt off!
