9a Very light colour (6) M?R?O? could it be maroon or mirror ??.......... if so can't see reasoning! Thanks for any help.

A maroon is a firework, similar to a Very Light, which used to be used by the RNLI.

Not so, Aquagility, VERY is the accepted spelling and VERI must be archaic. An alternative spelling is sometimes given as VEREY.
