Hi people. im currently in the process of gathering a list of songs that have been the official song for the past children in need tv shows and i was wondering if anybody out there couls help me please????
Also i know that Terry Wogan did a version of The Floral Dance but could anybody tell me what year it appeared on Children In Need?? Thanks..

The ones that I can recall are as follows:

Boyzone - When the going gets tough - 1999

Hale & Pace - The Stonk

Right Said Fred - Stick it out.

I think McFly - It's all about you was one.

Wernt stonk and stick it out red nose day and I think Boyzone was. I know S Club - Never had a dream come true was children in need

You know wat 4getmenot i think your right. the S Club 7 1 is that 1 appeared in 2000. i got all the ones from 99 too today but thats it. im not sure when they started doing it though.
Perfect Day was for Children in Need.
I know the single was released in 1978 of the Floral Dance but dont know when he did it on children in need. I'm sure many bands have done children in need single but I cant for life of me think of any, have loads at home with the little sticker on. Not that I ever bought S Club Aherm ..

They were red nose day songs dr pop. Alibobs is right though Liberty X did song for lovers and stand by me was one.

This I am afraid is where the list starts/ends.Other than this I can remember Bruno Brookes and Liz Kershaw at the end of the 80`s covering It takes two(89?),Also there was a Bronski Beat/Suzi Quatro collaboration ,covering Bowie`s Heroes in 1986 and a dance remix of the Floral Dance around about 1995

I will search later for more if I get the chance
There was Radio 2 DJ Ray Moore doing "Bog Eyed Jog" and "O Me Father Had A Rabbit" in the late 80s.
I knew dr pop would manage it :-)
