Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

This Charity Quiz is published in two parts of the country, the North West and the South East. Two separate quizzes for different charities but the same questions. About 90 entries in NW and 80 in SE this year. Entries had to be in by Monday this week and the NW has now been marked.

A member of my family got the NW second prize with 99 correct, drawn out of the hat as a number had 99. Only one entrant got all 100 correct. I copied one of my answers wrong and the wrong spelling meant I only got 98!

Despite all the effort devoted to Q73 it was Q78 that actually caught most entrants out, the answer is Silk Stockings ("All of you" was a song in this musical). This site favoured Same Situation but was wrong!

Both quizzes are out at the same time, the next one will be late October or thereabouts.

Sales of the Charity Quiz centres around Rochdale and Worthing which is where the organisers reside.

I will try to find out if postal applications can be introduced. This would mean sending an SAE and �1 per set. If this can be arranged then I will post details at the time.
