VW advert with the angels. what is the point?

Help settle an argument.in the VW polo advert, why is the main angel wandering about? What is the storyline of the ad?

He's off duty, going to art galleries, just sitting enjoying the view, etc, while his human is in the Polo which is so safe he's not needed.

No I thought he was trying to get the person hes supposed to be guarding because the car was so fast it got away and because it was so safe the person was fine. I thought that was his person though...

I thought it was just that everyone had an angel or rather that every angel had a human & this one's didn't need looking after whilst in the polo so looks for others to look after, which is why he looks so depressed

The theme is while the person the main angel is guarding is in the POLO there is no need to guard her as the car is so safe. He gets to her really quickly when she parks and gets out as only then is he needed..

Got info from a friend at VW who also said the ad wasnt that clear if people have to ask what the story is which i tend to agree with.
