One Life

After reading about the Tattooist of Auschwitz I looked on Amazon Prime to see if it was available on there. Unfortunately it isn't, but I did find 'One Life' the story of Nicholas Winton who saved 669 children just before the war. When it first came out it was quite expensive to rent, but it is only £4.99 at the moment. I have to admit sobbing while it was on, particularly when they showed the excerpts from That's Life. Anthony Hopkins was brilliant as NW.

Ooo thanks helly!  I really want to see that.  The Tattooist of Auschwitz is on Sky Atlantic.  I started watching the series last night.  Excellent.

That's what set me off Naomi.

The clip from That's Life was very moving. Sir Nicholas was introduced to a couple of women sitting either side of him. Both saved by the kindertransport. Then Esther Rantzen asked him to look round. Everyone in the audience was alive because of what he did.

I have it recorded on SkyAtlantic and so haven't seen it but a little could put me off is that is it authentic made.   I absolutely loved Liam Neeson

I know Helly - Liam was on Schindlers List - it is just that that movie was so wonderful and was wondering if the Tattooist would be as good.  I will watch it and find out for myself
