We have visitors arriving tomorrow, till Monday.

tomorrow evening we're having lamb shanks in mint gravy with roasted roots and broccoli.

Saturday we're having Chinese takeaway, a rare treat for us all.

Sunday we're having my (easy) version of an Indian meal with all the bits and bobs that go with it.

Do you have any special foodie plans for this bank holiday weekend?

I might try the local chippie for a change, or failing that the café next door.

We live in rural Norfolk and our Bank Holiday fun is to take a picnic to the river bank and enjoy the antics.  That might be wildlife antics or weekend boaters trying to moor stern to!

We had visitors  last week so it will be ordinary fare for us this weekend. I might do a leg of lamb on Sunday though, as a bit of a treat.

As I can't sit on a riverbank having a picnic in Norfolk, which would be lovely, maydup, the next best thing is having these visitors. Hope the weather doesn't spoil it for you.

I always enjoy having visitors, Tilly, but am also glad when they've gone. Enjoy the lamb and the peace.

Canary, whatever you do I hope it's nice.
