WPOB in Rochdale is a one-off that will be forgotten by the time of the GE. So Labour have no worries- they'll get plenty of votes including the Muslim votes again

People voted for GG because he's GG. I doubt many of those who voted would know what the WPB is

People voted for GG because he attracted the Muslim voters with strong anti Israel/pro Gaza feelings, and he won because most of the traditional working class and woke/'liberal' labour supporters' middle classes stayed at home or voted for other minority parties

Labour today has a 26 point lead in the polls. One cannot  be certain but I can't see the Gaza thing damaging Labour too much at a GE. And the great John Curtice agrees with me so there you are 😄

I'm not sure Galloway is the problem for Labour but the Muslim vote may well be.

I suspect they will soon be forming their own Party which of course will have a knock on effect. Not with Galloway they will just see him as a useful idiot.(Supposedly said by Lenin of course)
